Bin Yameen takes Farhad to the station and ties him up so that Siraj Amritsari can have his way with Farhad for teasing his daughter. However, Bin Yameen begs Siraj to do whatever he wants to do with his son but spare his life. Naseeban is in a tussle to lay claim to Mehmal with Surraiya, who gives her an open ground to play with, knowing Mehmal will always turn to her. Hazrat tells Mehmal that she won't let their wedding happen and claims its Manto who says they'll not get married.
Episode 16
Maria wants Manto to acknowledge that he's in love with Mehmal but Manto is convinced that he shouldn't fall in love with his student. The lawyer comes to meet Manto to give him the cheque but Manto is adamant not to take it. However, he takes the cheque when the lawyer insists. On the other hand, Hazrat wants to convince Siraj to delay the wedding but before he can meet him, Mehmal intercepts and tells him that he'll not delay the wedding at any cost.
Episode 17
Ms Maria is adamant that Manto should accept his love for Mehmal whereas Manto has clearly refused. Surraiya tells Naseeba that now since Mehmal has accepted the fact, maybe there is going to be a wedding after all. On the other hand, Farhad has changed for the better. He listens to his father and tells him he'll do as he says. Mehmal asks Manto if he told Maria the name of the girl and he tells no. Hazrat receives a phone call which leaves him surprised.

A shocking murder shakes everyone, Hazrat, Mehmaal's father-in-law, is found dead. Binyameen quickly suspects Farhad, causing the wedding to be postponed. But the real twist? Manto witnessed the murder and tells everything to the police. Yet instead of acting, the police silence him, urging him not to speak further — to protect their own life.
